SMS Text Program Description
VHASS is a web application used by members of the Virginia Hospital Association (VHHA). Healthcare agencies that are members of VHHA register with VHASS. One of the main features of the application is to notify members that have been granted alert text message access, to receive SMS text alerts when there is an emergency.
SMS Text Messaging
- Messaging frequency may vary based on the number of emergency events.
- Message and data rates may apply based on your carrier and your individual cell phone plan. Please contact your phone carrier for more details.
- STOP receiving SMS text messages, Reply to text message with the word “STOP”
- HELP, contact your designated organization contact or send an email to email@example.com
- Once assigned Alert access, you must submit your Primary Alerting Information/Number in order to receive SMS text messages
- You may optionally submit your Secondary Alerting Information and Voice Alerting Information.
- The Voice Alerting Information is the telephone number where you will receive computerized voice alerts if you are a RHCC Alerting User or a Hospital Alerting User.
- A copy of any alerting messages that you receive will also be sent to your profile email address, which is currently set to the email your account was created with.
- Personal data is not shared.
