City of Roanoke, VA :: Taxmap Parcel Application
The City of Roanoke GIS application provides public access to real estate assessment and mapping information. Users may view, create, and print maps, and search and view tax parcel data.
SiteVision was recently awarded the contract to redevelop the City of Roanoke’s GIS application utilizing ESRI ArcGIS. The original site was developed in the early 1990′s.
City of Roanoke, VA :: GIS Community Portal
The Community portal provides Roanoke citizens with quick and easy access to information about schools, parks, facilities, neighborhood groups, services, events, etc.., by neighborhood. The application uses buffer queries against spatial data layers.
Virginia Hospital & Healthcare Association :: GIS for Emergency Management
Phase 1 was deployed December of 2011. The completed application will allow users to share data from other 3rd party organizations such as Virginia Department of Management (VDEM) and Virginia Dept. of Transportation (VDOT) allowing users to make decisions and allocate resources. Furthermore, the application will have a robust set of features and tools.
NASA :: Wallops Flight Facility Goddard Space Flight Center Interactive Master Plan

This NASA application focused on the collection and/or verification of existing facility features, assigning attributes to these entries and integrating these data for use in Environmental Systems Research Institute’s ArcGIS and ArcIMS applications.
Virginia Dept. of Forestry :: GIS Community Portal
“Our mapping application has an array of functionality that helps our citizens understand the importance of Virginia’s forest resource,” explains Mindia Brown, GIS manager for VDOF. “Users can choose from a list of layers, including recent aerial photography, topographic maps, forest cover, wildfire risk assessment, woodland home communities, gypsy moth defoliation, and more.

VirginiaScanTM :: Virginia Economic Development Partnership
The Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP) implemented VirginiaScanTM, a new feature on its award-winning web site. VirginiaScanTM allows corporate executives to search an online database of the state’s sites and buildings from anywhere in the world. Using ColdFusion technology, the new feature provides the quickest, most accurate preliminary site search on the web.
